HBK faced a dual challenge: To define a future-state data architecture in complex enterprise landscape while simultaneously maintaining an existing legacy landscape.
This required a comprehensive Data Strategy covering both business strategy, end-user needs technical debt, capabilities and cost.
As an essential part of designing and planning the future data architecture a deep-dive analysis of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and technical dependencies towards existing systems and future ERP-solution were needed as well.
In collaboration with Codellent, HBK developed a Data Strategy with a Data Architecture shifted towards a centralized and value-driven approach. The solution was designed to be "business-first," ensuring that every technical milestone translated into a commercial or operational advantage.
